FOREWORD

The booklet here presented is, as usual, compiled by graduate students on occasion of a Convocation Day, which falls on December 9^th 2504 B.E. this time. It was summarized and translated from part of a book in Thai version entitled “History of Buddhist Education in Thailand`, a product of the research work of the former group of graduates. The students who take part in this work are PHRA MAHA SUCHIN SUJINO, PHRA MAHA THONGSA ANALAYO, PHRA MAHA SUDHEB THITO-BHASO, PHRA MAHA THAVEE ABHIGUNO, MAHA BANTHORN ORNDAM AND MAHA- SUNTHORN NARANGSRI.

The Mahamakut Educational Council hopes this little work will be of some use to those are interested in this line of study.

May the above-named students and their English lecturers who helped making some improvements and suggestions be blessed with progress, prosperity and peace of mind.
