I Wish to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who assisted in the publication of Letters of Shinran, a translation of the collection entitled Mattõshõ. This is the first volume of the Honwanji international Center’s Shin Buddhism Translation Series I, which will include all of Shinran’s works as well as other basic scriptures

I truly hope that Letters of Shinran will be of use to English speaking people who seek to know the teaching of Shin Buddhism
